Current Goal

Misty Bear is now a Blue stuffed bear. The first version - A keychain - was MIA, but has resurfaced! What luck.

I want to travel. If you can take me to any waterfalls in the World, that would be hreat. Please take a photo of me by each waterfall and post it to the Geocaching.com website. Then drop me off in a cache for someone else to continue my travels. Thanks

About This Item

Misty Bear Starts the Journey

I started my journey on the Maid of the Mist, below the world famous Niagra Falls, Canada. I always would enjoy another visit there, if that is a part of my travels, but I know there are many more falls on the World that I have not yet seen.

May, 2005. I was lost in cacheland and am now a Blue Bear, again ready to travel the world and see waterfalls. I have a laminated card attached with my TB number.

April, 2006. I resurfaced, but the replacement TB has been lost.

May, 2006. My travels are continuing due the the gracious help of smcpeaknkids. Thanks a big bunch.

We picked up Misty Bear today while out caching some country caches. She will be traveling to South Dakota with us in a few weeks to start a new adventure out there. I'm not sure what the name of this GIANT waterfall is called but we have decided to name it Misty Iowa Falls!!! This lovely location is in the Greenbelt north of Nora Springs, Ia.
Update: We took Misty to Fertile, Ia. today to check out the waterfall they have there. She thought it was gorgeous.
Update: We had a great time with Misty in the Balck Hills. Because of her we even met some people at a waterfall that I just happened to know their son!!! Glad we found her and had a chance to take her with us. She led us to some beautiful places! Hope she finds more waterfalls in her journey!

  • Spearfish Canyon Falls This is a bautiful set of little falls on your way into Spearfish Canyon. There is a nice pond to fish in and the water is crystal clear. There are een rocks to sit on and read a book if you want to.
  • Sunday Gulch Trail Falls This is was a chance find. The falls are actually set back in a crevice in the rocks. I had to climb in to get this pic. It was amazing!
  • Her final stop with us We dropped Misty off at General Custers Camp. We thought she would be safe here until her next falls adventure began.
