Current Goal

The fifteen Colored Turtle's first mission is to spread out all over the world. I.e. their first aim is that each one gets to a separate continent, that it is the only Colored Turtle on that continent. To make the mission easier we in this context divide the world in more continents than usual six (Africa, America, Antarctica, Asia, AustralAsia, and Europe). "Our" 10 continents are:

1) Europe, 2) North America, 3) South America, 4) Africa, 5) Australia and New Zealand, 6) AustralAsia (except 5), 7) Middle East (Asia), 8) Far East (Asia), 9) North East (ex USSR, Europe and Asia), 10) Antartica.

The most efficiant way to spread out is to do giant jumps between caches in different parts of the world, but because turtles normally are slow, also small steps are welcome, as long as they move frequently.

About This Item

Green Turtle

The fifteen Colored Turtles is a group of identical (except for the color) objects that have different objectives at different times.

Their planned objectives are:

1) (current) Spread out all over the world.

2) (future) Meet occationally (two or more) in the same geocache.

3) (distant future) All return home to their birth place, Ladispoli, Italy

The members of the Colored Turtle family are:

The Silver Turtles Red Turtle, Blue Turtle, Turquoise Turtle, Green Turtle, Black Turtle, White Turtle, Yellow Turtle, the Multicolor Turtle triplets 1, 2 and 3, the Gold Turtles Yellow Golden Turtle, Blue Golden Turtle, White Golden Turtle #1, White Golden Turtle #2, and the smaller Yellow Diamond Turtle

Note that the price of the object (the turtle) is only €1 while its tag costs €6. So please do not dispose of the tag even if the turtle has gone missing. The mission of eventual empty tags (without its turtle) is to immediately return to its owners cache (Casa Troll in Ladispoli - Italy, or anywhere in the Rome area), or better, that you attach some kind of new turtle to it and upload a picture of its new identity.
