Current Goal

My goal is to visit as many golf courses as possible throughout the USA. I would like to have my picture taken at the entrance sign to the courses I visit and have it posted with the log.

About This Item

Two golf courses (Wildwood & Faries Park) in Decatur, IL are closing. A new Raymond Floyd Signature golf course will be built with the grand opening to be in the Spring of 2006. I would like to be back in Decatur for the grand opening.

Sorry for the delay but Golf Ball Joe was recovering from his tour as a volunteer at the Champions Tour Event at Augusta Pines in Houston Texas. He helped with lasers and walking scoring during the Pro Am.

  • GBJ Working 18 Green laser Lasers measure where the ball is on the golf course relative to the tee and the pin. Info used by announcers.

  • Getting Ready to work as Walking Scorer in Pro Am The walking scorer records all shots for the golfer. The Control center then uses this information along with laser reading on golfer's shots to provide an accurate account of the golfer's round. Can be deplayed visually
