The mission of the academia bug is to travel to many interesting universities and visit caches all over the world. This bug has one restriction: it should *not* be placed or dropped in caches but only be handed over personally from one cacher to the other. When you hand over the cache, please share a story about your time in the ivory tower if you can!
This is the second incarnation of the academia bug. The first version featured a nice CalBear keychain but got lost after only a couple of caches (after travelling around in California for a tiny little bit). The new version of the academia bug features a Purdue chain (where one of the turbobadgers currently works). Let's hope that this one stays up and running for longer!
