About This Item

DESCRIPTION:  Ka’apuni Mu means travel bug in Hawaiian. It started traveling in Hawaii. It’s current goal is to travel and add a small memento to the pouch at each visit. Whether a shell, seed, small rock, token, etc. So if you find this bug, perhaps take a picture of you and the bug, add something to the bag, then help it find it’s way to another cache. Be sure to log the bug on the website.

MISSION:  This bug started it travels in Hawaii.  It is trying to reach South Florida, ideally the Melbourne area.  I hope you can help it on it's way.

Kaina and I were on Molokai to get married on Valentine's Day and decided to check on all three caches while there. I picked up Ka'apuni Mu #7 from I Can See Halawa Valley while giving family members a tour of the island. I added a piece of Porites sp. (coral) to the pouch, and will take it back to Santa Cruz with us. Look for it's next home in a cache in the Monterey Bay area. -coralgeo
