The Pony Express is about to depart...
This is "Peppermint"
Peppermint Pony has 3 special goals...
1- To find cache's that are on, about, near to or come in contact with The Old West, Ranches, Horse Farms/Ranches, Cowboys/Cowgirls, The Wild West or anything to do with the Love of Country or PEPPERMINT!
2- Collecting photos along the way of fellow Geocachers & the areas that he visits... 1 photo will tell alot about where Peppermint is & whats he's up too!
3- NOT TO GET MUGGLED! So please be careful on where you place Peppermint... If there is a history of lost TB in a particular cache... Please keep him safe & move him on to another...
All Aboard... The Pony Express is our 1st Trackable Bug... Created by Autumn Acorn & Sunflower Seed 79 (Caylin79) on the 1st Day of July, 2015...
Our hope is that Peppermint will travel and travel well... Peppermint is starting out in a small town called Lyons, located in Upstate New York (USA)... We are about 1 hour East of Rochester, NY...
Lyons, is known as the Peppermint Village... Home of the Hotchkiss Peppermint Factory (now closed but remains part of our wonderful history) Every July, we have a festival, Peppermint Days... This year, 2015... we will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Peppermint Days!
So on this the 25th anniversary, Peppermint is beginning his journey... My daughter (14years old) and I are dedicated Geocachers and we now release Peppermint to you... Please guide him well and remember to follow his journey.

Please continue to move him from cache to cache and DO NOT KEEP HIM... WE KNOW HE IS A HANDSOME DEVIL BUT HE WANTS TO BE FREE TO TRAVEL... Someday, maybe he'll make his way home...
