Attending Wood Badge isn’t about gaining personal recognition. It’s about becoming a better leader so the boys in your unit will get the most out of their experience. The payoff is ensuring that Scouting endures through proper execution of the program Lord Robert Baden-Powell conceived more than 100 years ago. In a nutshell, it’s often referred to as getting a Ph.D in Scouting and is an intense training experience that is fueled by the highest levels of scouting spirit. There is no better resource for learning about the Scouting program while actually practicing it.
