This Pittsburgh Firsts travel bug originated in a 3rd grade classroom in a Pittsburgh Public School as part of a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) project that focused on Pittsburgh History and Geocaching. Students are tracking how far their travel bug travels, so please give it as many miles as you can. Photos of the TB's travels are also appreciated. Thanks, and greetings from Pittsburgh, PA!
The Pittsburgh First highlighted on this travel bug is in 1903, the first World Series in Major League Baseball was played between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Boston Americans with Boston winning 5 games to 3 in a best of 9 series.
