Goodbye Signal the Frog Travel Tag, it’s time to let you go. I’ve dropped you off at an event on a rooftop in London that looks over the City of London (which is not the same thing as London City) in one direction and the British Museum in another. Good luck! 🏙️

Zoomed down to Mitcham, south London, to grab some Tram Sidetracked caches to boost my numbers as I’ve been ignoring them lately. It is thought that Mitcham and other Thames plain settlements were some of the first populated by the Anglo-Saxons. The Anglo-Saxon graveyard next to the Wandle River is the largest discovered to date, and many of the finds from it are on display in the British Museum. 🚃

Needed to get away from all the boxes so I took you to Sidcup in south east London. The artist and illustrator Quentin Blake was born there. Turned out to be a wet day and I got stuck on a frustrating multi. 📦

Resurfacing after a house move. There are too many things going on in my life atm. Wandered into Liverpool Street Station in London for an event. The station served as the entry point for 10,000 child refugees arriving in London from mainland Europe as part of the Kindertransport rescue mission prior to the start of WWII. Most of the children never saw their parents again. 🧳

I dropped Ex-Geocachpro off at the airport and then thought I’d find some caches to take my mind off things. The road to Land’s End, the most westerly point of mainland England, begins here. I’ve been to Land’s End but I didn’t take the road. I walked there on the South West Coast Path, a national long distance walk in England. I thought it would be a wild and remote place so it was a bit disappointing to find out it’s an crappy amusement park. 🎪
