– l’Alsace est l’une des régions de France les plus « géocacheuse »
– le Bas-Rhin 1er département de France en nombre de caches, compte plus de 4 500 caches en 2014!
L’année 2014 a permis la création de caches spécifiques dédiées au « Patrimoine castral et fortifications »
Événement officiel lancé le 21 juillet pour une durée d’un an. Ce GeoTour comportait une sélection de 40 caches numérotées et réparties sur l’ensemble du territoire alsacien, fruit d’un travail collaboratif avec le RésOT Alsace, 14 Offices de Tourisme partenaires (Sélestat Haut-Kœnigsbourg Tourisme, Alsace Bossue, La Petite Pierre, Barr-Bernstein, Rosheim, Molsheim-Mutzig, Rouffach, Vallée de Munster, Eguisheim, Guebwiller-Soultz, Val de Villé, Niederbronn, Saverne et Pays de Hanau) et grâce à l’expertise d’Alsace Geocaching.
5 sculptures Lalique étaient en jeu pour les plus rapides à trouver l’intégralité des geocaches, ainsi que des Géocoins "Alsace"
C'est un mini clone surveillé par l'original qui se balade. Le Géocoin original est en poterie traditionnelle.

Michel, I finally found time to complete a few more of your quarantine puzzles to get the corresponding trackable codes. I am slowly making progress getting through the list but it might be quite some time before I finish all of the puzzles and discover all of your trackables, especially since I am trying to spend less time at the computer since I have so many zoom meetings that require sitting at the computer for multiple hours at a time. Also it seems to snow about once a week right now which means that I am spending a lot of time removing that snow from our driveway and sidewalk. Hopefully, I will find some additional time between winter storms and scooping the snow that they leave behind in the next few weeks to make another dent in the list of trackable puzzles.
