To visit parks (National, State, County, Provincial, etc.) and enjoy outdoor recreation. Please take photos and post so others can enjoy. Please do not keep me, I need to travel!
Growing up in the Cascade mountains of northern Washington state I had the opportunity to enjoy, and gain an appreciation for the outdoors. Today while traveling about, we take the opportunity to visit parks whenever possible. There are many parks just waiting for you to discover; offering great lessons in history, geology, and wildlife if you take a little time to hop out of the car and enjoy them. We've been fortunate to visit many parks and recreational areas in the western US while traveling to family reunions and such; from the Pacific Northwest, to the Sourthwest and Texas, the Rocky Moutain states, and across the Northern Plains states. We hope this little travel bug motivates you to hop out and enjoy that little out of the way campground, roadside viewpoint, recreational area, or park that you might otherwise have bypassed.
For those who visit Federal lands, you can purchase the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Annual Pass which is a really good deal.
Happy travels, and please take and post your photos!
