This Michelin Man tire pressure gauge is part of
Michelin’s Quest for Adventure Anniversary geocaching contest. Sharing a photo of this trackable could win you a set of tires AND a grand prize trip for two!
125 years ago, the Michelin brothers dreamed of giving people a better way to move and travel. The Michelin Man was a manifestation of that dream and he came to life ten years later to help guide people on their adventures all over the world.

This is one of those promotional trackable. In this case it was put out by Michelin, the tire company. When these were first announced, I signed up for one but later received an email notifying me that they had run out and that I wasn't going to get one. A month or two later, this one showed up in the mail. So, hopefully, it will now keep travelling from cache to cache and not end up in someones collection or drawer.

Following an international geocoin hunt involving Queensland Police, Greenslopes Hospital and numerous favors being called in, he's the short version of the past twelve months.
The cache maintainer, my father, after returning home with coins and bugs, laid some out. The cache was returned to him weeks later by the landscapers, a geocacher, who was able to identify where this originated from. Inquiries were made with the Home Owners Association who approved the location. The cache was laid out again with additional bugs and coins, and weeks later the Site Manager returned the cache, saying that he alone was not permitting it.
Asshole he is.
Dad's health was not good and was admitted to hospital. Long term. To recover the coins and bugs, Queensland Police were invited to assist. A key was mailed, the HOA contacted, entry was made and property recovered.
Yours is one of the recovered items, and I apologize for the delay.

I was one of the millions who applied for a Michelin Man, was advised by email I had one, and it never arrived. This is my first Michelin Man find, and now I must send it on a great journey where NO Michelin Man was sent.
