Current Goal

My goal is to go around the world, meeting interesting people and seeing great places. Then if possible come back to Tucson, Arizona.

PHOTOS WOULD BE GREAT!!!cheeky

This coin is in memory of Andy Clark Sr. Passed away on May 16, 2008, he was 67 years old. Andy is a legend in Arizona for his great ball drilling and for his wonderful personality and generosity.

Andy was always sponsoring City, State and National Teams and sponsored many leagues for 50+ years. He was the coach of the U of A bowling Team for two years, drilling all their bowling balls for free. He always gave discounts to the junior program. Seven times teams set National records and Andy had drilled all the balls.

Andy was not just a great ball driller, he also was a great left handed bowler. He had 8 - 300 games, a high series of 812 and was a 200+ bowler. In 1993 Andy was on the Andy Clark’s Pro Shop Team with Eric Hew, Linda Wallace and Dan Green, that shot 1084 game to set a National record for a mixed, one woman, three men Team and of course all balls were drilled by Andy. Andy Clark Sr. was inducted into the Tucson Hall of Fame for Superior Performance Service Division 2009.

Andy’s true love was drilling balls so his bowling game took a back seat to his Pro Shop. He never complained or lost his patience with anyone. He was always ready to help anyone to improve their game of bowling. He always had a good thing to say about everyone and everyone had a good thing to say about Andy.

At his funeral they had to move to a larger church to fit all 300+ people in the building. This shows that Andy was loved by many. We will all miss him dearly. Lets hope that God knows how to bowl, if he doesn’t, Andy can show him the ropes.
