So this is my 1ST! TB to be sent out!!!!  I'm a huge fan of law inforcement as eveyone should be!!!  This TB is for my friend Jimbo that I lost when I was 14 years old.  He use to baby sit my brother and me.  R.I.P Jimbo.

Friday the 13th!

After getting a friendly nudge from a trackable owner, I decided to finally locate a nearby cache that was big enough and moderately well-trafficked. This fit the bill.

Took along two of the kids (Seth 🎱 and Chloe [2]); two others were unavailable (Caleb [5] couldn't go as a disciplinary consequence after he threw the laundry basket downstairs in a moment of pique, and Hannah [9] was at Girl Scouts). Parked in the back of this location because we thought the park-like location seemed ideal for a cache, but then we saw it was in the front of the establishment. We re-parked and walked over. Seth started hunting, but he was probably not tall enough to spot it, and it was well-camoed, especially in the failing light of dusk.

Signed log, took some Altoids, a beautifully painted rock (lots of those around in Bothell, too!), and a toy shark to cheer up Caleb. Left the trackable. I hope it travels well!

Down visiting Mom in Nipomo, CA with the rest of the family (Kelly and the kids - Hannah (9), Seth (8), Caleb (5), and Chloe (2)) over Christmas break. Got there on the night of the 27th, and now returning home to Seattle.

We visited the Madonna Inn earlier - on the 29th - so the kids could see it all decked out inside for Christmas; I took the boys to the famous waterfall urinal, too! I noted that there was a geocache nearby for travel bugs, but we wanted to get to Avila Beach, and I'd left a bug we'd brought with us at Mom's house, so I told the wife that we'd have to stop by here on the drive home. And so we did!

There were, I think, 34 (!) trackables inside this cache! We copied down numbers, and left a bug we'd retrieved in the Seattle area. Given that there were no limitations, we let each kid pick a bug to take with us, and I picked a trackable, too. This is the one Seth chose; he liked the car!

Will have to find a spot for it in Washington!
