The Dialectic Bug

This bug wants to travel in another direction than it came from, to gain another point of view. 

It doesn't matter in what direction. This is up to the creativity of the finder. 

This bug loves contradictions.

The purpose of the dialectic method of reasoning is resolution of disagreement through rational discussion, and, ultimately, the search for truth.^[5][6] One way to proceed—the Socratic method—is to show that a given hypothesis (with other admissions) leads to a contradiction; thus, forcing the withdrawal of the hypothesis as a candidate for truth (see reductio ad absurdum). Another dialectical resolution of disagreement is by denying a presupposition of the contending thesis and antithesis; thereby, proceeding to sublation (transcendence) to synthesis, a third thesis.

Dialectiek is een filosofische visie op het ontwikkelingskarakter, dus dynamische karakter van de werkelijkheid. Een permanente ontwikkeling, een voortdurende beweging is echter nooit volledig te vatten. Concrete kennis is daarom niet volledig sluitend. Op het moment van de analyse is het geanalyseerde object strikt genomen al weer anders. In die zin beoogt de dialectiek een consistent idee te geven over inconsistentie, een sluitende opvatting over niet volledig sluitende kennis van de werkelijkheid.

Het is de eenheid van eenheid (verband) en tegenspraak die dynamiek genereert. Dit is hét kernpunt van dialectiek. De boog is gespannen, zet aan tot beweging. En de harmonie is spanningsvol, moet veranderen én herstellen. De spanningsvolle eenheid, de werkelijkheid vormt zélf de motor tot verandering. Die ligt niet erbuiten, bij een godheid of iets dergelijks.
