To travel the lands making observation, visit new sights and to collect the poetic thoughts of all who's hands I pass through.
Please, if you see something amazing, wonderful, shocking, beautiful and/or fun, just to name a few thing, write in me a little poem. My goal is to collect as many poems as I can before filling up, and then return to my owner where I can then come out one more time with crisp, new pages. I am a poetry journal, so please write in me.
A small yellow notebook for the poetic thoughts of all geocachers. Take the time to write a little poem.
Example:
Haiku - a syllable based poem consisting of 3 lines, line 1 = 5 syllables, line 2 = 7 syllables, line 3 = 5 syllables
Tanka - a syllable based poem consisting of 5 lines, line 1 = 5 syllables, line 2 = 7 syllables, line 3 = 5 syllables, line 4 = 7 syllables, line 5 = 7 syllables
Haiku/Tanka String - poems consisting of more than one haiku/tanka one the same topic
These are just a couple short examples but feel free to diversify. Use Sonnet, Villanelle, Sestina, Triolet, Free Verse, Couples, Tercets, Ballads, whatever you want. Just write and add some kind of poetic adventure from the cache trail.
