Bonobo is entered in the 2016 Geocache HQ Duck Dash. Please take him as far as you can to many, many caches by August 20, 2016, International Geocaching Day, and get him to a geocaching event on August 20.
After that, it becomes a race between 6 family members to see how far their Duck Dash TBs can go each year.
Please post pictures when you find Bonobo, feel free to add hitchhikers to accompany him on his travels and help him beat Geo-Sister-in-Law's Aimee's Amore the Teddy Bear, Geo-Brother-in-Law's Andy's Vinnie the Vampire, Bear, Geo-Mother-in-Law's Cathy's Mariah the Jackalope, Geo-Father-in-Law's Dave's CITO Leaf Mini,, and Geo-Wifey's Ginee's Pezoo the Polar Bear each year!!
Bonobo the Monkey is a likable traveler. Everyone loves a monkey.
Bonobo was initially set free by Gary Venezia, in Big Sky, MT, who wants to see him win the 2016 Geocache HQ Duck Dash and then roam from cache to cache playing with all of the kids games and toys he finds in caches.
He is made of aluminum, measures just under 2", and comes with a 3" chain for attaching to your favorite hitchhiker.

11/7/22 - RE-RELEASED AS PROXY #2 AFTER PROXY #1 DISAPPEARED FROM A MUGGLED CACHE CONTAINER WHERE IT HAD BEEN PLACED ALMOST 9 MONTHS AGO!! PROXY #1 HAD TRAVELED ABOUT 2,290 MILES BEFORE IT DISAPPEARED NEAR SOUTH WEBER, UTAH!!
10/27/19 - RE-RELEASED AS A PROXY AFTER THE ORIGINAL DISAPPEARED FROM A CACHE WHERE IT WAS PLACED OVER 3 YEARS AGO!! THE ORIGINAL HAD ONLY TRAVELED ABOUT 160 MILES BEFORE IT DISAPPEARED IN AURORA, COLORADO!!
