This TB would like to travel to New York and have his picture taken at the site of Ground Zero, home of The World Trade Center. Along the way he would like to visit fire stations and have his picture taken with different types of firefighting equipment and/or personal.

About This Item

This Travel Bug is in tribute to the 343 Firefighters and over 3000 others killed in the 9/11 World Trade Center attack. Take a moment and reflect back on the day so many lifes were lost and how so many others were affected by that tragic day.

  • WTC 343 at Knotty Bob's Since this has been to the WTC, I decided to take it to my home which was recently hit by fire (thankfully no one was hurt). We thank firemen for what they do everyday.

I foundthis Travel Bug (my first Bug) at Thanksgiving Everyday - took my Niece there on her 1st day of Gocaching (she loves it) - I'm touched and plan to take this Bug to a memorial for Washingtonville Firefighters

I was able to take WTC to ground zero today. It was a snowy day in NYC.

After seeing your plea to have someone check on the TB, we decided to get this cache since it was not far away. Very cold morning (15F) so that is why the cache had not seen alot of logs. We will try to take a few photos and maybe even get down to the city (ground zero); but if not, we will move it a little closer to its goal.
