My father was career Air Force (starting with the Army Air Corps). We boys lived at 6 different Air Force Bases. So, the mission of this Bug is going to be to visit all 6 bases' entrances (or what is left of them) in the given order:
- Westover Air Force Base (now Westover Air Reserve Base), Chicopee, MA
- Elmendorf Air Force Base (now Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER)), Anchorage, Alaska
- Norton Air Force Base (now San Bernardino International Airport), San Bernardino, CA
- Clark Air Base (now Clark Freeport Zone), Philippines
- McClellan Air Force Base (now McClellan Park), North Highlands, CA
- Vandenberg Air Force Base, Lompoc, CA
So, the initial goal is Westover Air Reserve Base in Chicopee Massachusetts. Please take a picture at the entrance (or base museum, or...) and then start it onto the Base. Once completed, send it back to Palos Verdes, CA. TIA.
