Took Bouncing Bear to Mount Rushmore for the 4th of July. And, then tried to drop him in the split rock cache right near there. He complained about the fires just down the road in Deadwood and Leads ... said he didn''''t want to be a smoking bear.

Well, I guess we can take him to Iowa.

Okay, I stuffed him in the first cache we visited in North Dakota. And, he didn't want to stay. Seems that there are only 12 caches in North Dakota ... and, this one hasn't been visited for two months. He says that he'll be forgotten for sure.

He didn't want to stay in the last cache in Minnesota because it was at a grave yard ... seems that it was too dead for him.

Guess we'll take him a little further.

Peppermintpatti is too protective of Bouncing Bear. He will never grow up and move out on his own. So, I've taken over care of him. Let's see if we can find a good cache to leave him in.

We picked this travel bug up in Wisconsin hiding in the Cafe' Cache'. Being as nobody has owned up to leaving him we felt he should be taken along on a great road trip. I kept him with me day and night so he would not be lonely for his owners. Jeepster, however seems to think he can do a better job at being his caretaker. So I will probably allow him to babysit for a time.

With my trip further south unfortunately cancelled, I dropped the Bear off in a safe but nearby cache in hopes that someone else will be able to take him further on his journey.
