    You are back in Dubrovnik. You took a ferry out to the island of Lokrum, just off shore. We walked up to the old fort, walked around and then went for a swim in the sea. This has been a great holiday. I never realised it was so beautiful here.

    You spent too long in Mostar and it was getting late by the time we arrived at Kravica. Geocach_pro still went for a swim but the rest of us stayed dry. Beautiful waterfall although given the size of the parking lot, I cant imagine it at the height of Summer.

    Now you are in Mostar Old Town. Mr Wombat used to work for the UN and spent a lot of time helping with the aftermath of the Balkan War. We've come to Mostar so he can see the rebuilt bridge. After the Croatians destroyed the bridge, divers salvaged the pieces and the bridge has been rebuilt using them. The Nevetna river runs fast here and is a beautiful teal colour. So beautiful but hard not to remember what happened here.

    We've hired a geomobile and headed to Bosnia Herzegovina for the day. This was a really lovely village with an excellent fort to explore.

    You've arrived at Wallingford and that's Day 8 of my Thames Path walk over. Wallingford used to be home to a castle that was so impenetrable, that it was eventually ordered to be slighted. I wasn't aware of that word use before. Time to get a bus and a train back to London and find your passport.
