About This Item

This striking geocoin is the sixth of an initial assortment of ten that I plan to release into Oklahoma geocaches in an attempt to increase the number of coins "in the wild" here in the Sooner State. Perhaps, this effort might encourage other cachers to do the same. Much as I regret having to actually say this, please DO NOT keep it for your personal collection, place it in an event cache, or take it beyond the Oklahoma state border. Keep it for a few days, admire its beauty, then drop it into another OK cache for others to enjoy! As a courtesy to your fellow geocachers, please be sure to log the coin out of a cache as soon as possible after you pick it up.

Remember, you can use the "Discovered it" option if you don't wish to move the coin along yourself. Simply record the tracking number that's on the coin and log it in as you would any other Travel Bug. By doing so, you'll still have earned a cool icon for your Profile page. If possible, please post a picture or two documenting the coin's travels across the state - thanks!

What an adventure this was to achieve this coin. Retrieve it from "The Quest For The Underworld" was quite the adventure that the enire family enjoyed. I will be looking for just the right place to put this coin soon. Although I may just have to hike back out and put it in a cache that I hope to be submitting this week.

Out caching with my good friend Darkmoon today. Had loads of laughs and adventures. We even managed to discover a potent raccoon pacifying elixir, (pics to follow... soon...), and we're pretty sure we found a crime scene on some one's front porch... Very cool coin. Discovered it after DM pulled it from 100 miles to Atoka.

This is the prettiest geocoin I have seen so far. It was in my cache at Red Rocks last week, and I missed it. Came to Hydro to get it. Will be taking it to Clinton. Look for it at Clinton Speedway. I really like the idea of attaching the personalized keyring! That should help to keep it in circulation rather than in someone's "collection"...
