Geocaching is all about the hide and seek so here’s a little more hide and seek fun for you …
This Conservation Connection (coin's goal) is to find pollinator friendly gardens or plants all over the world.
Did you know that 1 in 3 bites of food you eat is thanks to pollinators like butterflies, humming birds, and honey bees?
Help a pollinator out by taking a picture with the coin at a pollinator garden or near a pollinator friendly plant.
Please post pictures with the coin at the garden(s) (or post comments with the plants or gardens that you found) before dropping it in the next geocache. For some extra fun add a picture of a pollinator.
If you find the coin when the flowers are not in bloom look for a place that may have for a butterfly garden, pollinator garden, or pollinator station sign. You can also share plans you might have to make your own!
If you need ideas, would like to see examples, or are unsure what makes a garden pollinator friendly is please visit the "get involved" section of my website at:

Thanks for looking for pollinator friendly gardens!
This Geocoin is part of a series of conservation themed trackable missions for a school project. Please put them in geocaches that are visited frequently whenever possible.
A survey link will be posted shortly related to the coin's missions. Check back here to participate.
As part of my graduation requirements I am required to do a 'Master Plan' intended to make an ongoing impact in my community and around the world with a focus in sustainability, stewardship, conservation, and environmental awareness tying in the coursework and experiences from the program to the project. These coins are part of that project.
Comments and posts for this coin maybe used in a presentation for my project or in other settings. Please do not post if you are not comfortable being a part of the project. Please feel free to visit my website for more information on the mission, my project or conservation: http://gscampstar.wix.com/thenatureconnection
Thank you for your help! Have fun!!
