Inner Sanctum: Out with my dad exploring Old Hwy 80-he to take photographs and me to find caches. We stopped here where he went up the road to shoot and I went down to look for this one. Had to disturb the beautiful frosted grass but found it with ease. Left a penguin.

4:10 to Burma Shave: out on a drive with my dad today and stopping for a few caches along the way. Decided to stop for this one to show my dad this type of hide since he used to take me shooting when I was a preteen. It was cold this morning but that didn’t stop us. The field was beautiful, but not as beautiful as what I captured at GZ.

Caching Kids in Tow: This morning I was actually caching parent in tow. My dad actually wanted to go for a drive to the Desert View Tower and take photographs along the way. He asked if I would come with him stating that there are lots of caches out there. How could I say no. He’s cached a couple of times but ran into more DNFs than finds. I walked right up to this one and found it right away. It was not what he expected. We signed it Pengwinldy and Papa. Off to the next one.

Park Hunt: After hiking Goat Peak, GuppyKAS and I decided to stop for one more before heading to the event in RB. This was surprisingly difficult considering it was not really hidden. Be careful when retrieving it because the plants are sharp!

Zenaida graysoni: After finding This Otter Be Fin, we had an idea of what to look for. We found it but it has a lot of sun damage and is starting to disintegrate. Be careful when you touch it.

This Otter be Fun: I love me a good animal cache and this did not disappoint although, we were searching around the wrong bolder and didn’t think it would be as far down as it was. We even reached out to a previous finder. Finally I trusted the coords and went all the way down to GZ. I’m so glad I did. Unfortunately, when I was returning the cache, it fell inside and I was not able to retrieve it. Texted the CO who asked me to put out a replacement which I did. I also left a trackable.
