Hello,
I found my first geocache on 25 May 2014, 236 days later (January 2015) I took up geocaching again and this time I stuck to it.
It took a few months before I made it to my first event and then more followed. Since then I have met so many nice geocachers and been welcomed into the geocaching communtiy.
May your caching days be filled with smiley faces and dry log books, but most of all good times with geocaching buddies :)
