Travel The World. My Geocaching-Bonus-Dad LaGriva brings you to the USA. Travel as many caches as possible, from village to village, from town to town, from state to state, from continent to continent, an island or two and a mountain would be nice. Just take me all over the world!
A windmill is a mill that converts the energy of wind into rotational energy by means of vanes called sails or blades. Centuries ago, windmills usually were used to mill grain, pump water, or both. Thus they often were gristmills, windpumps, or both. The majority of modern windmills take the form of wind turbines used to generate electricity, or windpumps used to pump water, either for land drainage or to extract groundwater.
In Holland you find a lot of windmills. I live in the north of Holland, and in the area I live there are several caches about various windmills. Flat country side means a lot of wind. A lot of wind means a lot of windmills, also the restored really old ones. Not a lot of wind turbines yet. Hope you will one day visit the area I live.
