About This Item

ICE Beetle

ICE Beetle began his travels at Lincoln, Nebraska USA. He has a little protective traveling case and He will be happy to come out for a visit especially if there's a camera around. He's really a very friendly and gentle creature If you remove him from his case please return him to it and tape it shut before you send him on his way. Happy travels little beetle. I hope to see you at a future ESA meeting back in the states.

After many adventures and a trip around the world this TB is now retired. The pretty beetle fell victim to a forest fire but the tag has survived and it's in my trackables collection.  However, I am making it available for discovery.  If you see me at an event I probably have it with me. I'm not logging it into events so its milage will stay at the 32715.6 miles it actually traveled.

Found what was left of this bug after the fire went thru the area. Nothing left but the tag, I will contact the owner to see what they want to do with this left over bug.

I regret to report that ICE Beetle is now a "fire bug". I discovered it in a burnt up cache in Osceola National Forest. I've uploaded some pictures. The tag is still readable. Horseshoe champ took it home and should be contacting the owner about it.
