The goal for this Travel Bug is to travel to "Going to Gatlinburg" cache (GCB42D).
MountainMudbug has written an excellent tutorial
for making geocoins. Although I'm not an artist by any means, I carefully followed all the directions, and ended up with something which is somewhat acceptable (see the images below). Please remember that this is my FIRST geocoin. Hopefully, the results will improve with more experience. I am releasing this bug on the occasion of my 100th find. I would like it to travel to "Going to Gatlinburg"
cache (GCB42D) near Gatlinburg, TN, which was placed by MountainMudbug. The coin is a thank you gift for taking the time to write these detailed instructions. Please help this bug to meet its objective. Many thanks!

I had originally planned on getting this much closer to TN but my plan unfortunately didn't work out. I placed it near a highway (at a rest stop no less) so hopefully someone travelling south can pick it up.

Picked up the bug in Martha Stewart's former brief home of Alderson, WV. The bug's still in one piece - although, there is a little chip missing from one side. I will be moving it south soon.

Carried this coin around far too long, taking it to little airports like Bennett Field in Weston, WV, and Crawley International Airport. It's had it's feel of real aviation, though, and it's ready now to jet on down to Gatlinburg!

Snagged it from Blue Bend Overlook Cache. Couldn't resist, since we drive a bugsmasher ourselves. We'll take it slumming to EAA meetings and such for a while, just to give it a feel for "real" aviation, then release it into the wild blue yonder again .

😎 We found the geocoin at Psycho pups almost 1 yr ago. Due to some health problems in the fall and winter, I was unable to place it. Thank God, I am better and now geocaching again. My family and I placed the coin in Blue Bend Overlook. We are so sorry that it took this long. Good luck and Happy Caching. jamcamper

Apparently, the geocoin disappeared from it's last home. If you come across it, grab it!
