Current Goal

This bug's mission is to travel the world and spend time in caches near golf courses and in towns where golfing is popular or even legendary. If possible, Augusta, Georgia and St. Andrews, Scotland would be very neat.

Getting ready for The Back 9

I love golf so to make a travel bug out of a golf ball was something I'd wanted to do for a while. Take the ball wherever you want but it really should go near sand and definitely not near water. That would be a two-stroke penalty. All I really ask is that the bug be kept moving as often as possible, slow play is a no-no in golf.

Picked up while rescuing a cache from a path widening project. I can't guarantee another golf course - I'm not a golfing fan - but I will move on soon.

Sorry for the slight delay - I had a cache in mind to put this in which first I couldn't find and then turned out to be too small for a whole golf ball! However, this cache it's ended up in is right next to a golf course. Since this is golf, I suppose I ought to tell you that though currently in a hedge, the ball is around 150m from a hole, though I couldn't tell you which one as I'm just using Google Maps to work this out!

Picked up on a visit to Durham Travel Bug Hotel - looking at the map, there are so many golf courses around here with caches nearby it'll be difficult to choose which one to put it near!
