"Little Chef" was a chain of roadside retaurants in the UK. At its peak in 1999-2000 there were more than 430 locations across the UK, but they failed to move with the times (and suffered badly from lack of investment) and consequently the group effectively failed. A few prime locations remain, but sadly most of the premises have been sold off (many of them to become "Starbucks").
