HEDGY the hedging hedgehog

Hedgy the hedging hedgehog is an experienced international business animal. He knows that, to minimize his risk in the global marketplace, he needs to hedge one currency against another. The only problem is, Hedgy can not keep track of all of the currencies, and with today's economy, the currencies and exchange rates look more like a rollercoaster! Hedgy has therefore decided to take off from Germany, on an adventure. He wants to collect the lowest currency from every country, and will carry this currency in the little bag attached around his neck. So he doesn't forget where he started his journey, there is a 1 cent piece from Germany included in his pack already. Hedgy hopes to be back to Stuttgart, Germany, no later than the World Soccer Championships in June 2006.

When you find Hedgy, please add your country's lowest currency to his little bag. His owners, KAZJO, would also be more than thrilled if you can add a digi-pic of you adding your country's local currency into his bag as well! Cheers!

We took the TBs to visit Regents Park and the lovely gardens there. We took a wonderful group photo in the flowers, which will be uploaded when we get home. The TBs will be boarding the ship Saturday.

Hedgy the hedging hedgehog attended cruise training today.

  • GeoPig tells the TBs about life at sea Hedgy the hedging hedgehog and friends attend GeoPig’s informative lectures.
  • Now we get to eat! After the lectures, GeoPig brought in samples from the snack bars on the ship so the TBs could taste the delicious food that was in store for them. She did warn them to make sure they didn’t stuff themselves.
  • So this is what it’s like on the ocean! Snazu the Killer Whale, Steve the Stegosaurus, Phred Pheasant, Hedgy the hedging hedgehog, Donald’s History Lesson, Valiant Blue Devil Ducky, Wanna Be, Fugitive from the Pot, and Rogue River Red get their sea legs.
