This coin is designed to travel throughout the world telling everyone about the great geocaching available in Ottawa/Gatineau, the National Capital Region. Come and visit Ottawa!
The red maple leaf shape is for Canada, of course, with the Peace Tower in silhouette as a distinctive Ottawa icon. The trillium and the Fleur des lys represent Ontario and Quebec, two provinces that meet across the Ottawa River.
