Current Goal

This little travel bug came all the way from Germany! He would like to travel all across the USA. His goal is to visit all 50 states and of course Washington D.C.

I would be great if you can post a picture of each state sign when entering a new state. Or maybe some typical sights of that state as well. Thanks!

Virginia! This is where we call home! ❤️

“Virginia is for Lovers" is the tourism and travel slogan of the U.S. commonwealth of Virginia. Used since 1969, it has become a well-recognized and often imitated part of American jargon. In 2012, Advertising Age magazine called "Virginia is for Lovers" "one of the most iconic ad campaigns in the past 50 years."

Welcome to wild and wonderful West Virginia! It cost us $1.50 to grab this photo as we crossed the Oldtown Toll Bridge. 😂 The Oldtown Low-Water Toll Bridge is one of only 17 privately owned toll bridges in the United States. This single-lane, wooden bridge with no guard rails is not for the faint of heart.

    The Keystone State!

Pennsylvania’s essential role in the founding of the United States earned it the nickname, the “Keystone State.” The term “keystone” comes from architecture and refers to the central, wedge-shaped stone in an arch, which holds all the other stones in place.
