This is a replacement for my charliewhiskey's 6th Kansas Sunshine geocoin, which is missing.
This consists of a photocopy of the coin's image, along with two metal washers glued inside a coin capsule to give it a nice weight and feel. I regret that it is a poor representation of the brilliant colors and craftsmanship of the original.
I was born in Kansas, and so thought the original would be a fun one to send out. I especially loved the bright colors. The original was small enough to fit in a film can, but that also meant it was small enough to be easily misplaced.
This was number 6 in a group of 10 that I sent out. All are missing. I still hope the originals show up some day, perhaps with tales of grand adventures.
