My mission is to travel around the world and get to know other unique traditions.
The Castells are a collective activity that takes place in a public space throught the coordinated efforts of a group of people organized within a Colla Castellera. Identified with shirts of the same color, these people construct, in the traditional music sound, human constructions that require practice and preparation and that are useful to express a colletive aspiration in a festive vibe and also promote afellowship based on shared feelings for Castellers and the audience that go to see the action.
The Castellers are the symbol of the Catalan cultures. And thanks to this and all the values that represents, the UNESCO has declared them Intangible Cultural World Heritage.
