The main aim of the day was nearby Selsdon Wood where there is a fantastic Harry Potter series of caches. Very well done. It’s astounding how long it took us to find this obvious broom up a tree! Lovely to talk around the woods and see the acorns growing. The seasons are changing. 🧙

Our excursion today was a visit to Rizal Park near the old part of Manila. It was a very pleasant spot with lots of shady trees. Enjoyed watching the jeepneys as we walked back to the station. Time to pack your bags again. 🌳

Took the EDSA bus to the Mall of Asia, the third largest mall in the world and also the home of the largest IKEA in the world. As always in Manila, lots of people looking at the shops, not too many buying thing though. Most popular was the IKEA restaurant where the queue was over an hour warned the sign. 🛍

Happy International Geocaching Day. I took you to a well attended event (a record in Manila?), did some caching around Bonafacio Garden City with the other attendees including finding this very old cache at the American War Cemetery. It’s a very peaceful spot in such a busy city and the views of the Manila skyline are excellent. 🗽
