1 - To travel the world's geocaches telling tales of the amazing Pembrokeshire coast.
2 - Collect photos of exotic (and interesting) places visited.
This TB is released in celebration of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path National Trail and the outstandingly spectacular Pembrokeshire coast. National Trails are waymarked with this acorn logo.
The 186 mile long Pembrokeshire Coast Path is the way to experience the remarkable coastline that is designated as a National Park because the coast has fine examples of every marine landform to be found in Britain with the exception of those associated with chalk.
The PCP links over 50 beautiful beaches and passes through a series of Sites of Special Scientific Interest that abound with drifts of wildflowers and butterflies – in their season.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path links over 50 Iron Age Settlement Sites, half a dozen Medieval Castles, and a chain of c1850s (Palmerstone) Forts and WWII airfields and battery sites.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is also part of the Wales Coast Path and the International Appalachian Trail
