After one of the best ever Xmas's Lunches with our family, staying at the Marion Bay Caravan Park, my wife and I decided to go to a couple of caches on Xmas day.
Well did this cache make us work for it, first we tried to approach it from the top of the hill and as I had already had a Xmas drink, looking down the sanding hill, we decide will walk back and go to the bottom of the hill and approach it that way. As we are making our way to get in line with the cache we find 2 black thongs laying on the beach, we think nothing of them and keep walking. So we start climbing up to the cache. 20meters up and looking under all these little bushes, close to giving up, we look out at the ocean and start looking again, I squat down and was so glad I found the cache as it was getting hot and the flies were driving me crazy. We open the cache and I couldn't believe that Lisa was sitting inside the container waiting for us. A little celebration and we made our way back to the car and when we came across those thongs I told you about earlier, I grabbed one to bring along for the ride until Lisa hopefully finds the other one, what are the chances? A billion to one, but you never know.
So we thought we will take you around to a few places and then leave in a cache somewhere down the line. Stay tuned and I shall post some pictures of our travels so far.
