Current Goal

Travel the world to interesting places of historical, cultural, or geographical significance.    The record of these travels will become a furture learning experience for Brae, my new grand-neice, many years from now.    

About This Item

"B" is for "Brae"

The letter "B" was attached to the travel bug tag to signify the first letter of my grand-niece's name.    The copy tag was also attached to a "B" and crafted into a Christmas tree ornament.    That way (many years from now) it can serve as a reminder to review where this travel bug has landed throughout the years.  

Please keep "B" moving to provide the best learning experience we can as geocachers and note if possible in your log entry why you selected the cache for the drop or visit (dip).   Pictures would be great also.

"B" is on the move!

At the end of our stay in Sydney, literally as we were driving out, we visited "Safe City - Bug and Coin". A really cool cache - we picked up 4 TBs from there and left 8 that were travelling with us. Then we headed towards the Blue Mountains. When we went bush, our phone reception was extremely patchy and the internet connection was non-existent. Hence the late log. The bug is safe and it'a enjoying its travels. Watch this space for more info!

  • Ingar camp ground Blue Mountains, NSW. Ingar means ‘yabby’ in the local Aboriginal language. We saw tadpoles and Red-bellied black snakes. No yabbies, no azure king fishers and no tiger snakes – all of which inhabit that area.
