About This Item

I have had a love of horses for as long as I can remember! I have recently begun actactually riding them and I am in love! I hope to share this feeling with all my equine friends out there and I hope this travel bug will visit as many horse trails and tracks as it possibly can. Let's see how many places it will go before I have a horse to call my own!!

This travel bug had a rough start, but hopefully it will travel far and wide now. Although the tag itself is in good shape the paper it is attached to it unreadable. I'll see if I can find something "horsey" to attach to fix it up a bit and then will release it back out in the wild.

Found this far from the cache (which is also in poor condition). The Travel Bug was hanging on the park sign in the parking lot. I think someone cutting brush in the area found it and hung it on the sign for a Geocacher to claim. I picked it up to move on.

Found this hanging on the Blackhawk Ridge sign board as we prepared to hike the trails here. Clearly it had been out in the weather for a long time and someone found it and hung this "lost item" on the board for someone to claim it. I took it and dropped in the next cache we visited, Phil's Woods Overlook. After taking this travel bug I did locate the cache, Half Way. I believe this travel bug was left in this cache in July, 2016, but was nowhere near the cache when I found it.

This is the first trackable I’ve found. Very cool idea. Left it here though because I didn’t know when I’d be able to put it in another location. The box was broken !
