The goal of this Travel Bug is to explore various aspects of the Criminal Justice System across the World. This Travel bug would love to meet as many prosecutors, law enforcement officer, judges, any other professionals within the Criminal Justice System or of course courthouses, jails or prisons. Photographs of any of the above with THE PROSECUTOR would be great proof its travels.
This travel bug, like the Criminal Justice System itself, is a bit of a puzzle. And like so many in the system, the penny trapped is always hoping to be set free. This bug is honor of my profession. This travel bug consists of a wooden puzzle patented in 1938 called the "Takitapart". You can visit it's patent at the U.S. Patent Office's web site under the patent number 2,181,116. Your goal is set forth above, and of course if you can solve the puzzle also, go for it. The only two hints I will give you are that the chain will not, in any way, effect the puzzle and any "wear" on the puzzle is probably indicative of some type of a solution. Forcing the puzzle apart is NOT the answer. For those who get too frustrated, there is a solution, or at least an explanation of the puzzle on the Patent Web Site. Good luck and don't break any laws with this bug around, he's watching you. I've started this puzzle with a 2000 penny which could be exchanged for interesting penny-sized coins. Enjoy.

Just thought I should let everyone know that I am not holding on to THE PROSECUTOR and TRAIN WHISTLE TB's just for the fun of it. I have this dog named Copper that loves to eat wood. I left these two TB's (made of wood) within snouts reach and Copper decided to demolish them. The Train Whistle also had an emergency whistle made of plastic attached and he nibbled on that as well. Apparently plastic doesn't taste as good as wood. I have now left messages for the owners of both TB's and will get them back in to circulation very soon. Sorry about any inconvenience or delays. I will attempt to attach photos of the damaged items for all to view.

It took some time to get the penny out but I finally figured it out. I replaced the penny with a Euro coin and put the penny in the travel bag.

I will find a new cache for him just as soon as I figure out how to swap the penny for a new coin and get a couple mug shots.

Took The Prosecutor and have already made a stop at the VanBuren Co. Jail for a Photo Op.
Edit update: Never did figure out the puzzle but did change out the penny. There was a 2001 penny in there and I switched it out with a 1998 for the birth year of my oldest son Cacher Joe. Sorry I took so long to place it.

Got this guy at an event cache in Northern Lower Michigan. We will check it into our home cache and pamper it a bit (maybe figure out the puzzle and swap coins) before we move it on its way. Thanks,
