Current Goal

Frodo is in search of Mount Doom so that he can destroy The One Ring and put an end to evil in the lands. Please take him to view the highest mountain peaks. Log his adventures along the way. When The One Ring is destroyed he will return to the rolling hills of the Piedmont in North Carolina.

About This Item

Frodo of Forsyth sets out on his journey

Some of the places Frodo would like to see include:
* Mount Mitchell, NC 6684 feet - N 35 45.53 W 082 15.
* Mount Washington, NH 6288 feet - N 44 16.14 W 071 18.17
* Mount Whitney, CA 14494 feet - N 36 34.38 W 118 17.33
* Mount McKinley, AK 20320 feet - N 63 04.10 W 151 00.13
* Mount Rainier, WA 14410 feet - N 46 51.10 W 121 45.37
* Pikes Peak, CO 14109 feet - N 38 50.26 W 105 02.38

No need for Frodo to go all of the way to the peaks, a picture with the peak in the background is all that is desired.

When Frodo of Forsyth has journeyed to all the peaks above, The One Ring will be destroyed and Frodo will make his way back to Forsyth County to a cache near Kernersville, NC.

Frodo must beware of the evil Gollum of Guilford. If Gollum shares a cache with Frodo, he may steal the ring.

NOTE: THERE IS NO ACTUAL RING TRAVELLING WITH FRODO OR GOLLUM

As Frodo lay in wait to be consumed by the serpent of Snake Road Cache, ever so close to his first destination, he realized what the little switch on the ring does; it changes from 'Cloak of Invisibility' to 'Transport', so he flipped the switch, put it on his finger, and commanded the ring to take him to the nearest, highest point. Unfortunately, the 'Floating International Village in the Heavens' was passing overhead, and now Frodo floats at 187 nautical miles up, orbiting the earth. There is a glitch in the ring's software, tho, and it will return him shortly to another random point soon.

Bad magic has taken Frodo far away from his current destination. Who knows where Frodo may turn up next? Where will his next stop take him? Only the fates can tell...but I'll drop Frodo in another cache soon.
