JessicasDaddy's Big Orange Geocaching Backpack of Holding

We have no specific mission for this trackable. We've seen tracking codes on people's cars and one on a t-shirt, so since we never go geocaching without our Big Orange Geocaching Backpack of Holding we thought we'd make our backpack a trackable item. So if you spot our backpack in the wild or maybe just in the back seat of our car, be sure to log it. And if you see us, say hi!

When we first started geocaching we went with the basics: smartphone, pen, and a couple of small toys for trading. That was it. As we found more caches we very quickly discovered that many of them were in various states of disrepair, and many of those caches had owners who weren't or couldn't address the issues with their caches for some reason or another. We've always felt that geocaching is a community game and as part of the community we should do our part to help the game along as best we can.

To that effect, we started bringing more and more cache supplies with us. The smartphone, pen, and toys from our first geocaching venture soon expanded to include spare log sheets, extra pencils, and soon a whole array of supplies. Any time we found a cache that needed help but we didn't have the means to fix it, we started carrying the means to fix it with us so that if we saw it again we could address it. At first we just carried the things in our pockets, but that soon progressed to a fanny pack, then a drawstring backpack, and finally to the Big Orange Geocaching Backpack of Holding.

What's in it? Everything we want and need for geocaching trips. Some of it is hiking supplies (trail mix, water, bug spray, etc), some of it is emergency supplies (first aid kit, signal tool, etc), some of it is hygeine supplies (hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, etc), some of it is geocaching tools (flashlight, tweezers, binoculars, etc), some of it is our trinkets for trading, but most of it is our "legendary" geocache repair kit which we're always building. Some people may call us neurotic, and some people would be right.  :-)  To us, it's better to have something and not need it than need something and not have it.
