Just to travel, enjoying this fun game.
I began geocaching in April 2015 because it kept the kids occupied during the school holidays. We don't do a lot, which certainly doesn't mean I am a little thrilled by the hobby, it's more about keeping the family balanced. So when I found myself at the Melbourne Mega help in Cranbourne Australia, 2015 ( also my 2nd event) I was a bit wowed by it all. People who attended recieved a showbag. In this showbag, was a trackable ....... this trackable. So in the New Year 2016, January, I attached this little owl and placed it in a GEOTOUR at Lake Eildon, Australia. Hoping it would travel. Only to recieve a message from another cacher, saying they had picked it up but it wasn't active ( still very much a newbie) This cacher was Oz HockeyChick. Now OHC , was someone I often saw on logs locally and I really admire her ability to solve puzzles. I am a very quite cacher but this accidental mistake on not activating the trackable would see a friendship grow between Oz Hockey Chick and myself. We talk often, hug at events and I love knowing she is okay. So this trackable represents a friendship that only geocaching could have bought together. Thank you for taking such great care with this trackable, just as I take care of my friendships.
