Current Goal

This travel bug began its trek at the Two Peaks cache in NH. Its goal is to make at least one stop in each state of the USA before returning to NH.

About This Item

Two Peaks cache has a small memorial stone that someone had placed a few years ago right where the cache is hidden. It is a place to start and maintain memories, it is an appropriate place to start the Army Brat travel bug. My father passed away just four days ago (5-15-02) and I felt this was an appropriate way to begin my expression of thanks for his being in the Army. I mean it. I was an Army Brat and I appreciate the experiences that I gained as we moved from one posting to the next. So Dad .... Thank-you and may peace be with you!!!

This was a neat surprise, when I opened up the cache and saw that the Army Brat Travel Bug had 2 of my Strider's Rangers attached to the chain. Was that from you Maddogcapt? Where did you get them? I will find a proper place for this T.B., soon I hope.
Thanks rangerck, and to you maddogcapt

I picked up the army brat travel bug today in the Maybury Hikers Cache. I will relocate it to a cache in the St. Louis area. I think my son has a plastic army man that I can affix to the bug to give him a little more character.
