I finally made it back east to drop this guy off. Unfortunately, I spent most of the time I had him packing for a move and entertaining my parents on their visit, so I had no time to do much caching. :( I was able to find one cache while in MA - home for Thanksgiving. It's close to farm land, but it's in the woods. I think he'll have a chance to acclimate to the new environment while waiting for a visitor to grab him and bring him home.
