Defunct Chip

Well, it finally happened. I got let go. All these faithful years working long hours, and this is what I get. They said "It isn't you" and "You've been integral to our success". Now they have brought in the newer, younger, faster models, Athlon or Opteron or something. If that isn't a slap in the face. Well, at least now I have my savings and I'm gonna try early retirement. I have been trapped in an air-conditioned server room for 9 years, it's time to roam. I want to see the world. I want to feel the outdoors. Show me how to live again.

I was so excited when I worked out the coords for this puzzle cache that I dropped all the bugs I'm holding into it. I haven't actually visited, and now I may not have time. Anyway, just a bounce in and out - virtual. I won't do it again.

Hm, Chip wants to travel north, so he's been wandering around Florida for the last 6 months.

I did a round-up of all the bugs in the Green Swamp caches (Yep, the Oasis is in the Green Swamp). I thought about doing it last year, but procrastinated, and then couldn't get to most of the caches without wading, or worse. They just sit there all summer, even in a normal year. (Normal being NOT 4 hurricanes). I'll get this guy closer to civilization where he may move. Can't guarantee north.
