Current Goal

The mission of George is to make it to Miami, Florida and then back to Lick Creek Park in College Station, Texas. This bug is being tracked by an elementary school science class. We are wanting to get information about each of the different areas that George visits. We would really appreciate as much information as possible. Pictures would be fabulous!

    • George at the 45th Parallel This is travel bug George in front of the 45th parallel marker along highway 82 in Utah, while I was on a recent vacation on 05-09-05. I didn't get to stash him in another state, but he traveled over 1,500 miles with me in Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Washington and Oregon. He kept me company. Pay particular note to the North Latitude Coordinates attached to this image! If you can't read the photo, it says "45th Parallel Half Way between the equator and north pole"
