Have my picture taken with as many blood- and plasma donors as possible, preferably in the bloodbank itself.
Nederlands
English.
This pelican is the offical mascot of Sanquin, the Dutch blood bank. And also other blood banks worldwide. This sterms from the common believe in medieval Europe. According to the legend, the pelican was particularly attentive to her young, to the point of providing her own blood by wounding her own breast when no other food was available.
Are you a blood or plasma donor? Take a selfie with this TB at the blood bank, or with some other evidence of your donations. And keep up the good work!

This is a heart-themed cache so it seems like a good place to drop off a blood bank mascot! ❤️ I hope that he/she has had a good journey with me around rural Yorkshire. This is a very rural cache in the Yorkshire wolds but judging by the logs it seems well frequented so I’m hoping that our little friend won’t have to wait here for too long.
