This lost black bear has a twin sister "Home Sick Ursa" (TBFF2B) who lost her way in Switzerland and is also searching for a way home. Her distance home is 6,245 km.(3,925 miles). Their dream is to, one day, be reunited in the boreal forest of Northern Ontario, Canada.

This bear was hibernating in a clever cammo container in the woods of Los Gatos, CA. He looked like he was ready to come out of hibernation however, so I retrieved him. Plan to place him further north for you soon.

PS - My niece (7 yrs old) who I took on her first geocache hunt today, thought this bear was really a cool find. I think so too as a matter of fact. Great TB.

Took this cute little guy from Two Dams View - Poway. My brother and family are visiting from Los Gatos, CA and will take him to a cache near them that will get him about 500 miles closer to Canada! Rubyzcrew

On a working trip in HI (origin in San Diego, CA) so I figured I'd help the bear back to the mainland and get him on his way heading north from there to Canada!🙂
